Lost very important document in Word 2010. Looked everywhere but I am not sure if I covered all the bases. I use W/vista on a PC. A

friend told me that these programs are dangerous-WordRecovery etc. Is this true? If not, can you recommend a free program that may be

able to find my lost file. The file disappeared when it was minimized to work on another file. When I tried to unminimize the file it was

gone. Thanks in advance.

Some are better than others. I use RECUVAand I've had good luck with it. Just remember that the file or files you recover should be recovered to a different drive. You risk losing them, or ruining them if you try to put it on the same hard drive. Use a flash drive, that works also.

Edit to get link to work.. :busy:
