Does a normal restart or shutdown bring up this error?

Also, what is your boot drive's letter (The hard drive that has the HDD0:\Windows\ directory)?

Do you have any other CD/DVD drives or USB sticks that you use?

Are you certain about the spelling of the named executeable?

Svchost.exe versus svhost.exe?
