Hey Guys,
I was wondering if there's an effective way to get songs off my ipod onto my computer. I'm going to replace my current Ipod, and it has music from a hodge podge of various places, that I wouldn't be able to easily get again. Thanks in advance.

How to transfer Songs from your iPod to your PC

They did a much nicer job of explaining it then I could.

The jist of it is if you enable "Disk Mode" through iTunes you can then go to My Computer and select the iPod then locate the "ipod_controls" hidden folder and inside of it will be the "Music" Folder which is full of your music. Albeit renamed in the iPods hideous way. Yeah it took me months to straighten out my collection when I had to do it.
