(Vista Home Prenium, Dell inspiron 1520, Model No. PP22L)

This all started when I got a two trojan.zeroaccess viruses and tried to get rid of it.
I downloaded a cleaner, which possibly resulted in deleting some important datas.
So now, my PC laptop...

-still has a virus
-cannot use system restore because I turned it off
-cannot log in normally, for it will show the BSOD (IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL STOP:0x0000000A (0x00000000, 0x00000002, 0x00000001, 0x8585A100))
-cannot connect to the internet, even in safe mode with networking.
-drives are disables, so no CD can work...

I understand the rule of "one problem, one post" So I'll ask...
Is there a way to reboot without using System Restore?

Hi,

What is the name of the "cleaner" you used and where did you obtain it from?
Why did you get the idea to turn off System restore, and where was this from?

The cleaner I used it called ATF Cleaner
http://www.softpedia.com/get/Security/Secure-cleaning/ATF-Cleaner.shtml

It was part of the step to remove the trojan virus.
A friend of mine suggested me to turn it off, and it was also on this yahoo answer.

Hello, could you describe your problem a bit more in detail? Safe mode will work, but you have no CD drive available there?

Please transfer the following tool using a flashdrive to the problem computer.

We need to see some information about what is happening in your machine. Please perform the following scan:
  • Download DDS by sUBs from one of the following links. Save it to your desktop.
  • Double click on the DDS icon, allow it to run.
  • A small box will open, with an explaination about the tool. No input is needed, the scan is running.
  • Notepad will open with the results.
  • Follow the instructions that pop up for posting the results.
  • Close the program window, and delete the program from your desktop.
Please note: You may have to disable any script protection running if the scan fails to run. After downloading the tool, disconnect from the internet and disable all antivirus protection. Run the scan, enable your A/V and reconnect to the internet.

Information on A/V control HERE

regards, Elise
