Has anyone come across the Fake FedEx email that replicates after being deleted?
It has an attachment which I'm sure contains the "Virus" so I have not opened it but I can't seem to rid myself of the email, it just keeps regenerating after the "Deleted Email" folder is emptied. This still happens when I'm offline.
Multiple scans with a range of different Malware and AV products can't find it and it's very frustrating trying to get rid of it. (I now ignore it)
If you have managed to kill this little bugga before please help me do the same.

Thanks

Yes this known, http://www.fedex.com/bz/fraud/virusalert.html

To remove it all we need a deeper look. Please go here....Preparation Guide ,do steps 6-9.

Create a DDS log and post it in the new topic explained in step 9 which is here Virus, Trojan, Spyware, and Malware Removal Logs and not in this topic, thanks.
If GMER won't run skip it and move on.

Let me know if that went well.

Thanks for the info, I followed all the steps but during the GMER scan I had a window pop up saying " 90jqkw5v.exe has stopped working" and all I could do was close it. So the whole process failed to complete but I will try again and see how it goes.

On the second scan I had a "Blue Screen of death" appear with "pxlyipoc.sys" problem. On reboot all saved downloads and txt files were gone.
I think I will find a local Tech who can help, I have backed my pc up so I can still do a "Fdisc" I suppose, it's just a hassle.

Thanks
