Hello, I am trying to improve my ability to maintain my computer and care for the OS better, I ran the Hijackthis, but this is a new tool for me.

I read through the tutorial and went to http://www.systemlookup.com to check the items that came back as 018.

Mod Edit: Removed HJT log data, as this is an outdated malware tool...and this forum does not analyze HJT or any number of malware tools which a member may post - Hamluis.

As noted above, the Win 7 forum is not the place to received instructions on using malware tools...it is for Windows 7 problems and situations, not for tutoring on how to use tools such as HJT.

See Announcement At Main Forum Webpage. .

If you have a malware problem that you want assistance with...please follow the Preparation Guide, Before Using Malware Removal Tools and Requesting Help - http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic34773.html , taking note that the forum for handling malware logs is linked to in the Prep Guide.

Thanks :).

Louis
