Hello,

I was looking on Internet and found the next message.

Sydney (ANP) Clive Palmer is an Australian Miljardiar and told today to our Reporter, that he will build a Modern Titanic.
The ship will be the same as the old one; the ship sunk 100 years ago to the bottem from the Atlantic Ocean.
It is the meaning that in 2016 the ship makes his first journey from England (Great Brittainne) to the Big Apple ( New York)

He told also that the ship will the same luxe on board as the old Titanic, but there is one different between those ships, the new one get modern technology and navigation - en safety systems.
The ship get the same length and wide as his predecessor, the ship will be build by a Chinese company.

On April 12 1912 was it exact 100 years ago that the Titanic disappered in the gulf from the Atlantic Ocean, after the ship crashed with an Ice mountain.

I can tell that it is very interessing what they would to do.
When this message is not a bake air, than is the question, get the Australian enough passengers for the new Titanic.?

Maybe they should stick to half-speed on the first run.

I fail to see what you're so upset about.

All jgweed did was link to a full article on the event you mentioned in your original post. If anything it makes your post more credible.

Very interesting story!

After watching this guy on local (Australian) TV for the last few days ..........

Personally, I think he just has an ego boost problem to clear up -
He made too much money in the mining boom we are having and is overtly anti-government on almost everything -

When it sails past me (I live on the coast), only then will I believe it -
Besides, I don't think he will do it prior to the end of 2012, and we all know what happens then  .......

Actually, the first port of call was Cherbourg, France after which it sailed to Queenstown, Ireland.

But I think this billionaire should have come up with the idea a couple of years ago so that it would have been in time for the 100th anniversary of the fateful voyage.

And why a Chinese company to build it? Surely there are good shipyards in Australia? I'm sure the yards would appreciate the business opportunity. That way, he'd achieve maximum publicity since the Aussie public could watch its construction progress.

Also, if the inaugural sailing is to be from the UK, how's he proposing to get it there if it's being built by a Chinese yard?
