This is a new issue with my Dell Dimension 2400. I have tried the steps it offers, but cannot fix it. I have a "Script error" pop up but don't know what it means. It says problem in Line 65, Char: 1, Error:Object doesn't support this action; Code: 0 and gives a URL. Then it asks, "Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?" I have answered both yes and now at different "tries" but nothing changes. What should I do?

Does it happen specifically with any particular program? (I'm not sure if you mean "Active Desktop Recovery" is a program or a service)

Try booting in safe mode to see if it's a non-critical service giving you the problem. (Reboot, press F8 on startup, and select "Safe Mode")

Also, take a look into your event viewer. (Start > Run > eventvwr.msc > Enter) See if you can locate this error in there and paste back your findings.

I'm not sure where you'd have to look to find this error in the event viewer, so maybe someone with more experience than me can point you in a more exact direction.
