[b]Hi all,
I'm new to the bleeping word. Got connected thru Microsoft after I got the SMART_HDD malware. Now I seem to have somehow contracted the Obfuscator.wa malware/virus. The Microsoft Safety Scanner detected it but says it cannot remove it. More on that in a Forum. I am running XP Pro in an HP desktop w/4gb RAM and a 1TB additional HD. All this seems to have started around the time I began to receive notices from Norton that my AV software needed to be renewed and things have gotten worse since then. Coincidence??? Maybe...

Nice to meet all. . . .

Hello and :welcome: to Bleeping Computer!

I suggest you start a thread in Am I infected? What do I do? stating all your symptoms, any steps you have already taken in an attempt to solve the problem, and any other details you can provide that may prove useful. Someone should be able to help you there!

If I am helping you, it has been 48 hours since your last post, and I have yet to reply to your topic, please send me a PM
