One day i was using my computer and I got the bsod. and after going through many many different procedures that include installing Malwarebytes and SuperAnti Spyware, I tried to clean up my computer.

HOWEVER!!! for some reason,
alllll of my pictures, documents, and music files are hidden. the only way i can see those files is if i check "show hidden files, folders and drives" in the View bar on the Folder Options in the Tools bar. When they show up, all the files are grayed out. I can still open them, they are just in a grayscale.

Also, the other day, I was trying to clean my computer and I installed Microsoft Security Essentials
It had found a Trojan, and told me I had to restart

right after restarting, I got the Blue screen saying "STOP: c0000135 the program cannot start because %hs is missing from your computer"
i was not able to start it in normal mode or safe mode without it giving me that blue screen and message and then crashing

soooo, I did Launch Startup Repair, that worked and allowed me to get on my computer.

Now that I can actually boot up the computer,
I need help on trying to make sure that all the viruses and trojans from my computer are gone.

What should I do to remove them and make sure that they are no longer infecting my computer?

And can you please help me with trying to fix the fact that all my files are hidden?

Thank you so so much!!!

This is more serious so you'll need more advanced tools to deal with your infection.

Please follow the instructions in ==>This Guide<== starting at Step 6. If you cannot complete a step, skip it and continue.

Once the proper logs are created, then make a NEW TOPIC and post it ==>HERE<== Please include a description of your computer issues, what you have done to resolve them, and a link to this topic.

If you can produce at least some of the logs, then please create the new topic and explain what happens when you try to create the log(s) that you couldn't get. If you cannot produce any of the logs, then still post the topic and explain that you followed the Prep. Guide, were unable to create the logs, and describe what happens when you try to create the logs.

It would be helpful if you post a note here once you have completed the steps in the guide and have started your topic in malware removal. Good luck and be patient.

If HelpBot replies to your topic, PLEASE follow Step One so it will report your topic to the team members.
