I've just installed Windows 7 Home Premium OS a week ago, everything was working fine until windows prompted me to install a series of windows updates.
After that, I noticed that whenever I start up my computer, the welcome seems to be running for about 10 mins before I could see my desktop.
I've tried creating another account/user with Administrator profile and it takes about the same time to load to my desktop screen.

I've been looking for solutions over a week like installing "Update for Internet Explorer 8 Compatibility View List for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB975364)", but none of them helped. :(

Would appreciate if anyone could provide solutions here.
