Hi...

Sorry I havent posted for a few days now. I ran hijackthis and removed the list of startup programs that you suggested.

But I am having lots of trouble with eset online scanner. I have tried to run it 3 times now and the first time it took over 2 hours to scan completely, but I did not get any log or info. that I could post here. The other 2 times I set it to run before I left for work and arrived home to find BSOD.

Any advice?

I don't know what the problem is but F secure is not working for me either.

I try to run a scan, let it sit all night and it was only at 5% when i woke up. Set it to run again while i was gone from the house and i came back to a BSOD again.

Any advice?

Hey Gringo...

Still running into issues with Kaspersky even in safe mode. I am gonna give it one more run in safe mode this afternoon. I should be able to post results tonight.

The run thru that just finished came up with this:

trojan.script.generic:

netcheck.js

desktopdoctor

I made a quick notation, so these are amended filenames/locations.

I selected skip on both and then I saw a window that said "view detailed report" but I did not click that link, I click the "dont send" button regarding Kaspersky have an error blah blah blah, so the whole program shutdown after that.

BTW, where does Kaspersky install? I cannot find it anywhere on C:, so each time I run it I believe I am creating a new install. Please help or any suggestions? Thanks :)

Hello

as far as I know it does not install, I will need the full path of what it finds but so far from what I can tell it is not finding anything serious.

try once more in safe mode

Hey Gringo,

Still working on running the Kaspersky scan in safe mode again. I have been very busy with work lately. I will try to run the scan and post the results to you by tomorrow evening. Thank you for your help :)
