My computer was infected by Spyfalcon this week and I am trying to remove it.
I read that for a better help (I read the tutorials) I should send a HijackThis log here.
I get tons of pop ups, a litle icon on the right hand bottom corner of my screen which is extremely annoying, and I noticed some troubles with IE (the home page thing allways gets me to a "antivirus" protection looking webpage.
I use Avast antivirus, I did a scan of ůy whole system with it and put the files it detected on quarantaine but it hasn't changed a thing. I wanted to try the tutorials but I would rather have a more advanced opinion before (I don't know what giving the log changes though but well lol, if it helps someone helping me ^^).

Thank you very much for your help!

 CLEAN! :)

I'm gonna run Panda online scan now...
EDIT : I tried to do the scan but it says it can't do it because I didn't install the Active X thing. I clicked so it installs it eventhough internet explorer first blocked it so I don't know why it doesn't work... I tried again and again but it doesn't make any diffrence.
In any case, I haven't had all the pop ups etc like before so I guess I got rid of SpyFlcon... Could someone please confirm?
Thank you very much for your help.

Hello Mythyn and welcome to the BC HijackThis forum. By reading the forum guidelines at the top of every page in this forum it states that by bumping (or likewise posting) to your own topic simply moves the topic farther down the list for the first-in-first-out processing of the HijackThis logs.

Since changes have been made since the last HijackThis log was posted we will need a current log to analyze to see what is currently showing in the log.

From a normal boot, start HijackThis and perform a new scan. Use the Add Reply button to post your new log file back here along with details of any problems you encountered performing the above steps and I will review it when it comes in.

OT
I do not respond to PM's requesting help. That's what the forums are here for. Please use them so that others may benefit from your questions and the responses you receive.
