I keep getting an error that says " IEXPLORE.exe has generated an error and will be closed by windows. You will need to restart the program. An error log is being created"
I found a Knowledge Based Article at Microsoft.com and did just about everything it suggested but no luck. I use Netscape Navigator now, but still keep getting these annoying pop-ups....Help !

Create a directory on your hardrive, to save HijackThis.exe, called c:\hijackthis. This is a mandatory step, for the backup and restore functions, of HijackThis, to be able to work.

Download the latest version, from here.

Yeah I had that the other day - I.Explorer had been hijacked by Cool web search, and some sort of Porn Site image software - i thought i had managed to get rid of it using spybot (I.Explorer now opens with about:blank again and Outlook also opens) but now when I go on windows explorer it always jumps to start-menu in the left window and in the right it shows nothing.
Don't need any help (going to reinstall) just thought it might help
