Hi Guys:

I have a computer running XP SP2 that randomly restarts with errors in the log file that lead me to think that it might be a root kit infection

MS Tech notes lead me to this after searching on

Error code 1000000a, parameter1 00000000, parameter2 00000002, parameter3 00000001, parameter4 805219f0.

For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

From the event log.

The PC is running Nortons 360 but something might have slipped through?

What should I do to look at what is causing this?

Please download BlueScreenView to your Desktop.
Double click on BlueScreenView.exe to run the program.
When scanning is done, go to Edit>Select All.
Go to File>Save Selected Items, and save the report as BSOD.txt.
Open BSOD.txt in Notepad, copy all content, and paste it into your next reply.
