I have an HP dv6000 laptop w/ Windows 7 Home Prem.
Its not my device but apparently a download was allowed and now this program starts on boot and prevents ayting else from executing.
It reports a vrus being detected called w32/blaster.worm and request purchase of the product for removal.
I downloaded Combofix before visiting this site and read where it said not to run Combofix!
I also ran frst.exe, creating a frst.txt file but running frst and "Fix" cannot find it.
I am attaching here now anticipating you might have wanted it.

Thank you,

Hi,

can you not execute anything or just not execute ComboFix? Have you tried accessing safe mode, does it work from there?
