Hello, my name is Pizza and Pepsi and I will be trying to help you solve your problem.

Besides the internet, is anything else slow?

Try to run these scanners:

Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware (aka MBAM): https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/malwarebytes-anti-malware/ to your desktop.

Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
At the end, be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes'
Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
Once the program has loaded, select Perform quick scan, then click Scan.
When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
When completed, a log will open in Notepad.
Post the log back here.
Malware shall not pass!

Thank you Pepsi and Pizza for your help. I really appreciate it.

Everything on the computer is running slow. I am also having problems with Ms Office Click-to-run 2010 and running word. It is (Protected)(Q:)and even after going to Control Panel / Programs / Programs and Features / Change / Repair Program and although it says Ms Office is repaired I still can't access the program. It all started 2 days ago. Everything was fine before that.

Here is the log from Malwares;

Please run the F-Secure Online Scanner
Follow the Instruction here for installation.
Accept the License Agreement.
Once the ActiveX installs,Click Full System Scan
Once the download completes, the scan will begin automatically.
The scan will take some time to finish, so please be patient.

F-SECURE download was very slow and after going thru all that for the 30-day trial subscription they ask for a product key. I waited 3 hrs to find that out. F-SECURE I don't think has a free trial subscription for their internet security 2012 product even tho they say they do. Is there something else to do?

On that aswMBR scan, how come you didn't want me to click on the 'fix' button? In the log this line was highlighted in yellow.

- 09:24:42.046 Service MpNWMon C:\windows\system32\DRIVERS\MpNWMon.sys **LOCKED** 32

And this is listed in HARD DISK DRIVES under computer.

Microsoft Click-to-Run 2010 (Protected) (Q:) - I still can't open any word files. Is there anything that can help?

How can there be a Q drive?

It didn't show any major infection. That is a properly locked file.

Lets Re-Run aswMBR

  • Click Scan
  • On completion of the scan, click the FIXMBR button
  • There is a slight pause after clicking the 'Fix' button.
  • Wait for the tool to report 'Infection fixed successfully', now reboot the machine.
  • Rebooting the machine prematurely, before seeing this line will result in an incomplete fix.

Note:After the 'Infection fixed successfully' message appears, the machine may became unresponsive. You may have to do a hard boot of your machine. That may be a side effect from the fix. All will be well after the reboot.
  • Save the log as before and post in your next reply.
