Following a recent attack, by access to documents has gone.

I am fairly certain all is still there, but I cannot see anything. When I go on the start meny only explorer and MSN are visible, everything else (documents, control panel, etc) is gone.
I also can't find anything using the search facility.

How do I restore my links?

Press Windows+R key and type

%temp% and click ok

If you're lucky you will find a folder called SMTMP,copy it to a safe location(let me know if you have the folder)

Download and run UNHIDE

http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/grinler/unhide.exe

Run it

Post the unhide log generated

good luck
