Howdy, I'm new to the forums and am not sure if this is the proper topic to post this in. I've been having some trouble with an email account that is associated with a particular game I frequently play. I've regularly scanned after each attempted hack or hijacking attempt and am not sure if my computer has ever been secure since these attempts. This problem has been persistent for nearly a month or so. I've scanned with malwarebytes a few hours ago and it hasn't turned up anything suspicious. I guess my general question is if my computer is possibly infected that previous scans have shown nothing suspicious. Another thing worth noting is that the only email that has been successfully taken over is the one that is linked to that game. I've created more than my fair share of back up email accounts and those have been left alone. I was also curious if I could get some help in determining if I have any programs that are not necessary for my computer to run properly.
