When using IE8 for Windows XP, Avast keeps blocking sites with URL:Mal...can't search with search engines...ran MWbytes, Avast and ESet...still getting warnings...tried Restore...no good...advice please?

Can you run a quick Malwarebytes scan and post a log back here?
Also if you have any of those logs from the previous ESET or Avast scans can you post those as well.

When a few scans fail you can always try different ones. Feel free to check out these free anti-malware scanners:
