I downgraded a presario cq-50 139wm from vista to xp pro and the sound and video drivers r in arrears, the drivers won't update and HP does not support drivers for this pc with xp installed. thinking about just installing win 7 32-bit and trying that. any insights or suggestions would be helpful. :)

If the system doesn't support XP you've answered your own question. Format and install a newer OS
