I think I have some sort of infection.

MBAM it hangs the system when scanning sqlwid.dll. Just now spwizimg.dll caused MBAM to crash. When MBAM goes non responsive other programs stop running and I have to restart comp.

Avast also crashes while scanning.

I am running windows 7 64bit with AMD processor.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Cheers.

Argh, tried MBAM again but it hangs around 57 seconds while scanning system32 files, this time sqlsrv32.rll. It won't let me start task manager. Damn comp, can someone please help?

right, I took all files out of system32 and syswow64 folders that began with sq and then MBAM froze on another file. I tried renaming the MBAM .exe, still happens, tried running in safe mode, still happened, tried cursing the damn machine but that didn't work either.
