I have been having trouble getting rid of the "suggestions icon" that Bing pops up on the tool Bar. I have unchecked "Suggestions" in the IE>tools>advanced area. It remains unchecked. I have even checked it, and then removed the check to see if that would work. I use the Bing Map app. & Bing is listed as an alternate search engine, if Yahoo doesn't provide much.
I spent 45 minutes looking on here, trying to find directions, as I know it happens to others, to avoid asking the question.
I have gotten rid of it temporarily , but a day or two later, it's back, determined as ever.
Please provide information in simple terms.
Also any tips of how to search this site for things of this nature. I tried "removing suggestions from tool bar" "removing bing suggestions" , ditto for internet explorer.
I have windows 7 , IE 9, AT&T/Yahoo home page. All windows 7 updates, microsoft security,Malwarebytes Anti.,Advanced systemcare pro..
Thanks in advance.

If it was me ..... I would also remove Advanced systemcare pro..
This program claims to be a Registry Cleaner, amongst other things ..
MSE and Malwarebytes Anti-malware programs already do the things that Advanced systemcare pro.. claims

You also already have a good built in Defrag and Disc Cleanup in System Tools, so this program is NOT required -

Just my view on it -
