System manufacturer and model?

Why are you trying to install Windows XP?

Is Win 7 already installed on the system?

If Win 7 is already installed and you can boot into it...bnot into it and please follow the suggestions at Publish a Snapshot using Speccy - http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic323892.html/page__p__1797792#entry1797792 .

Also, how are you trying to format (are you booting to the XP CD) and at what point do you get the blue screen error?
