I have a new laptop, a Lenovo G570, equipped with the Synaptics Touchpad V7.2. The mouse is driving me crazy, the way it grabs onto objects, opens files, and moves around anything it grabs. How do I desensitize it so it will grab/open an object only when I click on it? I got into the device settings but don't know the terminology and am uncertain which setting I need to change. Thanks.

Hi, my laptop has Snyaptics touch pad also. It can be a pain.

Open up your mouse settings. Then click on the touchpad tab. Uncheck the box that says "taps and drags" and you should be all good. Let us know how you go with it :thumbup2:
