I tried posting on the HP Support Forum but it kept giving me an error message telling me to "fix the highlighted problems". There was nothing highlighted. I tried both IE and Chrome. I am not surprised. But that isn't my problem.

Product: HP LaserJet Pro P1102wPrinter
Operating System: Windows 7 64 bit
Error message: None
Changes to system: None

I don't know why this is happening. The HP Smart Install is showing up on a CD drive that doesn't exist. It only shows up on startup and disappears after a few minutes.

I'm not a tech geek but I'm not a newbie. The only CD drive is the D drive. The only USB stick is the one labeled "backup". I never installed the software on an F drive that doesn't exist.

Why is this happening? It's unnerving!

Thank you.
So confused.
