When it comes to a bad malware problem, people usually skip the introduction phase. They join the forum and dispense with the panicked cries for help. And that's understandable, you wanna nail threats before they spread. But maybe I pause for a second and introduce myself.

I'm Kaljinyu, and as I am yet uncertified to treat problems, the full features of this forum are wasted on me. I mean, is there a place where people just discuss things? If not, I haven't earned my stripes yet, and need to before I can call myself a part of the forum, rather than just a customer, per se.

Looking forward to that day!

EDIT: Forgot to add (sorry, it's very late for me right now, 4 AM), Bleeping Computer is like the flagship site for professional volunteer tech support. Every other site refers to this site and its rootkit removal stuff. I thought I'd hit up the source itself, see what they had to say about my problems. And maybe... perhaps... learn to help people myself... :o

Perhaps one day...
