the SSD that i am looking in to has mSATA and SATA II in the description so i am confused if i can put this drive in a desktop or not:

Hi,
That drive isn't for Desktops or regular laptops.

If you go to the same vendor and search with
60Gb SSD
you will find them. In my opinion that is too small, I'd suggest at least 90 Gb to 120Gb.

From the 1st review on your linked page.

It sat around until I got a msata to sata I/II converte

Good Luck
Roger
