boopme, the below should do the job from experience on my brothers machine. Not to say there may not be something else lurking too.

++++++++++++++++

Hi, It is basically as far as I know Adware that comes when you install something.

Go to "Programs and Features" and Uninstall the program
If it isn't showing up there then use
http://www.revouninstaller.com/start_freeware_download.html
to remove it.

Then from this page http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20120324160541AAX7AKa

In Explorer- Go to Tools and select Internet Options. In the first tab labeled General, click Settings then select your preferred search provider and click Set as Default.

In Firefox- Click the downward arrow button next to the search box. Then select Manage Search Engines. Select funmoods Search and click Remove.

In Chrome- click the wrench icon and select Options. Make sure you are on the first tab "Basics" and then look for "Search" option to select your preferred provider.

Don't forget to change your home page.

My brother picked it up and the above process cured the problem. I have explained to him read the screens and uncheck junk like funmoods (Facemoods), ask toolbar etc. during the install.

Good Luck
Roger

If rotors post works then all the better.
