My laptop running Windows 7 gives me about 30 pop-up windows immediately upon start-up that say "Failed to save all the components for the file \\system 32\\00006bb2. The file is corrupted or unreadable. The may be caused by a PC hardware problem." I've seen some similar problems on this forum and I'm wondering if Combofix would be the most appropriate tool or if there is something more appropriate.

Edit: Moved topic from Windows 7 to the more appropriate forum. ~ Animal
