Hi, my elderly mother has an XP PC and Iím trying to help her remotely as she lives far away and in an isolated area. She says when she depresses any key on the keyboard once it types continuously ( ex: aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa). Any idea what would cause this? Is there any key on the keyboard or setting that may have been inadvertently activated? I will suggest trying another keyboard but there is no neighbor or store that is close. She seems to have some other strange symptoms and general sluggishness as well, could this be malware related? I suggested she try a system restore as well but the restore function seemed to be hanging or timing out while I was on the phone with her. She has AVG run automatically once a week. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!
