I don't think its my video card since it doesn't say such and such as failed and recover. Sometimes I can be watching a video or just browsing and it would flicker. Also sometimes I will notice maybe the top corner of the screen kinda flashing (in games or out of games). Is my monitor dying? it is very old. . . .like 10+ years I believe.

For Browsing I notice it happens when I scroll down too fast. And it has to load something like in youtube and its images for the videos. Doesn't happen to normal images.

The flashes are less then a second.

The best way is to use another monitor. My old Dell LCD monitor for the dimension 2400 flickers just slightly on top left just looking on the desktop icons. Thought I was having vision problems the first time I saw it.

Seems it does it with my TV screen as well pretty much the same. I also notice that my computer screen's cable has a pin missing. the one I put in with my tv has no missing pins. I looked some up on youtube and mine are not like their's. My black screen has no lines, nothing that seems like a glitch. Its a straight up black flash less then a second, sometimes it may happen 1-4 times in a row. It usually happens when i scroll down on youtube. Sometimes happens when loading a game or when the screen has to change to the game.

Its something like this but the flashing is much faster
