Make sure you are Spyware & Malware clean.
See if this will solve the problem.

See this article:

Try these free tools.

Trendmicro (free virus scan only)
http://housecall.trendmicro.com/

These cleaning programs may produce better results if run in Safe Mode.

Ewido (free Trojan Scan)

Adware SE (update after installing)

Spybot S&D (update after installing)

After doing this and the problems are not better feel free to post a HJT log.
Be sure to read the How to submit a HJT Log and submit it to the appropriate forum. HJT Forum links provided below.

If you use Task Manager to end now when Internet Explorer stops responding & you then choose to send an error report you will probably get a link To This Page.

Which isn't very helpful.

When Internet Explorer hangs on me I double click an empty space on whatever page I'm on a couple of times & a rotating hourglass appears & rotates for several seconds & then Internet Explorer starts responding again.

I have checked for viruses & adware & spyware,etc. & I am clean.
Google Toolbar is the only extra toolbar I have.
Maybe Microsoft will fix it sooner or later.

I checked the event log too & it had no answers either.

Learn to use Google Search.  :busy:

Make full system images to restore to if your computer goes bonkers.
