Hi all,

I have a nasty google redirect virus on my machine. I am running XP SP3 and have all the Security Updates. Also, explorer.exe at times consumes massive amounts of memory and CPU. DDS.scr wouldn't run completely through without locking up my system. I get an error starting up the GMER program that reads:

"LoadDriver( "C:\DOCUME~1\Nate\LOCALS~1\Temp\kxtyakog.sys") error 0xC000010E: Cannot create a stable subkey under a volatile parent key.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  • Disable any script blocking protection
  • Double click dds to run the tool.
  • When done, two DDS.txt's will open.
  • Save both reports to your desktop.

Please include the contents of the following in your next reply:

DDS.txt
Attach.txt.

Please download TDSSKiller.zip
  • Extract it to your desktop
  • Double click TDSSKiller.exe
  • when the window opens, click on Change Parameters
  • under ”Additional options”, put a check mark in the box next to “Detect TDLFS File System”
  • click OK
  • Press Start Scan
    • As we are only looking for a log of what is on the machine right now > choose to skip whatever is found
    • Then click Continue > Reboot now
  • Copy and paste the log in your next reply
