Hi there
My laptop keeps experiencing a bluescreen several minutes after booting up. It was working fine up until about an hour ago. I set it to sleep while I had a shower, and when I came back, I had to fully reboot it as if it had shut down. It seemed to work fine for few minutes after it had finished booting, at which point it displayed a BSOD, then restarted. It now just keeps doing this when I boot it up normally, so currently its sitting in safe mode running a virus scan with MBAM

The details for the BSOD are;

Problem Signature
Problem event name: Bluescreen
os version: 6.1.7600.
locale ID: 1033

Additonal infomation about the problem
BCCode - 1000008e
BCP1 - C0000005
BCP2 - 839BE487
BCP3 - B6A8D764
BCP4 - 00000000
OS Version - 6_1_7600
Service pack 0_0
Product - 768_1

Any advice on what to do would be greatly appreciated (Sorry if this has been asked before)

Ok, I think I solved the problem on my own. Looks like Spybot S&D blocked an important driver update which was needed for windows to run and then neglected to tell me

You can probably close/delete this thread now

Sorry about that
