I was working on my compuret and I suddenly a screen popped up that said I needed to install the Smart Virus Protection. It then added a red box with a flag to the bottom right hand of my taskbar and an icon to my desktop. I removed the smart virus protection program and restarted my computer, however the red box is still there. When I hover over that icon it says "Computer Status - At Risk." Not sure how to get rid of this virus. Please help as this is my work computer.

Download the free version of Malwarebytes and run a full system scan.
