I have a HP Z400 PC with an error meesage: Driver stopped v 275.89. I thought it was my monitor. I replaced the monitor. Same error. What could be my problem? The error message continues: Nivida windows kernel mode..driver 275.89.

That appears to be an HP workstation and the driver dates from November 2011 (assuming Win 7 Pro 32-bit). See here for other OS and drivers: HP Z400 operating systems and drivers

It could be an indication that the drivers are corrupt in which case you would need to uninstall/reinstall the graphics drivers again. You can download them from the same site after selecting your OS.

But I had a similar message on a Sony Vaio notebook not so long ago and without doing anything, the system recovered of its own accord. I'd suggest monitoring the situation for the time being at least.
