Hello all,

After a recent bout with a Trojan and other malware, I decided to take a more active role in my networks security rather than trusting in my AV software. I have been using Zone Alarm's Security Suite for about three years. I was disappointed to find that it could neither prevent or remove the malware. To be fair, I was wondering if anybody else had a similar experience with Zone Alarm?

I joined Bleeping Computer and began reading, I bought Super Anti-Spyware and I used it with the freeware version of Malwarebytes to clean my computer. I then used Reimage to restore corrupted files. I would like to hear opinions from the experts on what to use as antivirus software also recommend a firewall? I'm now currently using the Windows firewall.

My next question is what would you recommend to run in real-time? Would there be any conflict issues in running AV software with Super Antivirus and Malwarebytes altogether in memory and if so would there be any conflict issues?

I appreciate your consideration.
