Fixing this for a friend...Very strange...will boot to profile 2 & runs a little better, but still wont run scandisk nor defrag. Will boot to profile 1, but won't load anything.
Has more free space than used.
Will a regular XP Home edition disk boot a 64 bit computer? It won't boot this one. Tried to boot from HDD Regenerator, but all my computers are 32 bit...so I have no clue what to do.

Admin., please help.

FWIW: Most, if not all, computeers since those with Pentium IV CPUs...are 64-bit.

Widespread use of 64-bit CPUs...preceded widespread adoption of 64-bit O/Ses.
