Hi G!

Welcome to BleepingComputer! We're glad to have you join us! I'm not sure if you're aware of this or not, but ComboFix is not a tool that's recommended to be used by just anyone. It's a powerful tool, and using it improperly can result in your computer becoming unbootable.

Warmest Regards,

Also new, had combo fix run on my computer at the computer fix it shop. Amazing tool! Yes, I will read and learn it before attempting to run it myself. I appreciate your forums on running other programs, such as malwarebytes, a program that has always intimidated me. Now to look for a forum on ccleaner!
Running Windows XP, it's hard to get me to move from a system that works. I loved Windows 98 SE for the same reason. I amintain 3 desktops and 3 laptops in a small biz environment and yes, I do everything. Learning more about wireless networking so I can expand my skills and maybe offer services of installation and repair. Economy is still slow, but everyone needs their computer system!
