Hello !

I recently bought a new monitor (Samsung Monitor SyncMaster S20B300B) for my PC,
and I noticed that sometimes, vertical green lines appears on the screen randomly, or when I start up my screen.
At first, I thought it was because I changed to DVI cables, than changed back to analog's(?) one, but its still appearing.
It never happened before with my old monitor.. So I assume is my monitor.

Thanks for helping me !

Computer's spec :

Windows 7 Ultimate x86
AMD Phenom II x4 920 Quad Core OEM
nVidia Geforce 9800 GTX+ 512 MB
4.00 GB RAM

P.S: I will try to take a screen to see if it my Graphic Card or my Monitor is acting up..

You need to do some testing.

Try another monitor on the computer
Try another computer with the Monitor
A screen cap when the problem is occurring could also tell which is at fault. If the screen cap is fine when the lines appear then it is the monitor,
If the lines are in the screen cap then most likely the monitor is fine and the computer isn't

See which one the problem stays with.

Good Luck
Roger

Glad to hear it. These days a computer is almost a necessity.

Cheers
