Im Deaf, No Sound

my roomate used the computer and the next day no sound ran system mechanic and adware they found something that wouldnt go away so since nothing useful was on the computer and i have all disk i just reloaded every thing is great after format except still no speakers? now what? shouldnt the reset have reinstalled the correct drivers? im lost!

Have you gone into the Device Manager to see if there is and error message. Does the audio device have a ! or ? next to it? If it does delete or unistall it and re-boot windows. Windows will re-install it at start up.
