Double-click on "My Computer" (or right-click on it and choose "Properties" - I forget which with XP)

You can also hit the windows key and pause key, if it 64 bit it will say so otherwise it 32

BTW? is it windows 7 or XP you asking about? If I not mistaken Windows & will say either 32 bit or 64 bit... Not that its a big deal :)

...and there is no 64-bit version of XP Home, it's only Pro that has a 64-bit version.

Thanks for all the Help...

was on the line with HP for an extended period on Friday...

the Indian Supervisor said she would call me back today because they had, ""Technical Difficulties"

with the hp website, ie:...couldn't order the recovery disk...

well Hell I said...then I went through the Partition and back doored the recovery...

so it worked out after all...

It was windows 7 also...LOL
