Hi Folks
I used the Windows Easy Trasfer tool to backup data to ext hdd.
Then I (Foolishly) Reformatted the Badly Infected Hard Drive
and reinstalled Windows XP Proffesion.
I Ran the same Windows File Transfer software from a CD
and about 70% of the way through the 16Gb Transfer
it came up with an error and stopped. Because it hadnt completed
it appeared that Nothing was copied at all.
There are 9 Files in the UMST2 folder.
Can someone please help me recover ?
(Next time I will install XP onto a temporary Hdd and
try to transfer files to that - Then if Successful I can
clone that back over the original Hard Drive.
If that fails then I can still copy the data manually.)
