A week ago I installed the windows 8 developer preview (I backed up the users folder first), and then reinstalled Windows several days later. Then, I saw there was a random partition (Q:\) in the "Computer" window, though it doesn't show up in disk management. When I tried to open it, it said I didn't have permission, and when I tried to get access, it said that access is denied. So, what do you think it is, should I get rid of it, and if so, how?

Thanks for any idea.

caperjac,

http://www.technologyquestions.com/community/threads/strange-q-drive.479588/

That might be it. Thanks. So I can't/shouldn't remove the drive, right? I just tried to uninstall office clicktorun, but it said I had to also uninstall office. So does anyone know how to hide the drive?

Thanks.
