I receive continuous trusted site requests from the following:

http://ad.reduxmedia.com, ad.suite6ixty6ix.com, ad.media-services.net, ad.tlvmedia.com, ad.e-viral.com, ad.funky.com and cdn.adbabylon.com.

I've run Malawarebytes and Avast. Avast identified and removed several issues but the problem continues.

When the trusted site requests pop up, also have a dialogue box that asks if I want to restore previous session or go to the home page on the internet - even though I am not trying to get on the net. Windows lockup and the system has to be shut down by turning off the computer.

My operating system is XP. Please advise what should be done. Thank you!

I receive continuous trusted site requests

Does it still happen?

Download Temp File Cleaner (TFC)
Double click on TFC.exe to run the program.
Click on Start button to begin cleaning process.
TFC will close all running programs, and it may ask you to restart computer.

=============================================================================

Please run a free online scan with the ESET Online Scanner

  • Disable your antivirus program
  • Tick the box next to YES, I accept the Terms of Use
  • Click Start
  • Accept any security warnings from your browser.
  • Check Scan archives
  • Click Start
  • ESET will then download updates for itself, install itself, and begin scanning your computer. Please be patient as this can take some time.
  • When the scan completes, click on List of found threats
  • Click on Export to text file , and save the file to your desktop using a unique name, such as ESETScan. Include the contents of this report in your next reply.
NOTE. If Eset doesn't find any threats it'll NOT produce any log.

I tried running TFC several times but it froze and I had to manually turn off the computer. Also, how do I disable my antivirus program so I can run ESET scanner?

I am still having issues with Windows locking up. Haven't seen the trusted site pop ups but I haven't been able to use the computer much in the past two days. When going on the internet still get the "restore last session or go to home page" message.

Thanks!

Try to run TFC from safe mode.

Click on this link to see how to disable your AV program.

Windows is locking up or just your browser doesn't want to work?
If only browser, which browser?
