PC has become unresponsive not sure what's wrong

I'll do that. Thanks for your help.

The Microsoft Fix it is still "Preparing to load...."

I'll kill it re-image the HD and follow the steps above.

I'll post back here when that is done.

Reimaging the HDD would now only be precautionary. After you've gotten the all clean from the MRT member, I would then reformat that disk image so it won't infect you again. :wink:
