First try, rebooting the machine. Then try using a different DVD. If this does not work. Call HP Customer Service at 1-800-474-6836. When prompted, select tech support. Ask tech to take remote control of your computer. He or she will then fix the issue for you. Could possibly be just a corrupted device driver issue. But, if they are unable to fix. They will send you an empty box (over night) to send your machine in for service repairs. The entire process usually takes one week.
