Hi, I have a url that tries to trick the user into installing windows secure kit 2012. Is there somewhere I can report it or is there somone in here that can kill it? I know how to avoid this sort of infection but many will fall victim to it and I want to try and prevent that happening if possible.

The url is
hxxp://onlineusainfo6.com/?q=NTIyODA1Mlw8+5OtFFkBAHBvQVJuTFV2TER1WWpBZmpsY0RhZ1BoTnRrR2dlRkNkbVp6AGNjYjFjODM1OWUwOGFjNGQzYzk0NGY5YTNkYTQyYmFlOGVmOWQyZjgxMDdkYTc4ZTQ5NWUwYTBkYmQxZDMzYTUwZDBjNmM1NGUxOWNlNzk4AElvVWRrbXQxMzMwNzc3ODE4ZVhGRGZvcXdjRDc=
and I think I was redirected from a torrent site (no lectures please)

Thanks
Ray

Hello Ray

Please do not post active links to malware or possible malware related sites to include links which may lead to sites where infections have been contracted and spread. I have disabled the one(s) you posted so others do not accidentally click on them.

An ongoing threat exists for computer users who, while browsing the Internet, began receiving pop-up security warnings that state their computers are infected with numerous viruses...If you have experienced the anti-virus pop-ups or a similar scam, please notify the IC3 by filing a complaint at www.IC3.gov.

My apologies sorry :-( Never thought someone would actually click on it. It won't happen again.

Folks accidentally click on bad links all the time and end up infecting their computers.
