I am pleased to have found this forum, and hope I rarely if ever need to use it.
I did pick up Win32:Malware-gen this week, which was only found by running a Boot-time scan in Avast. Apparently it wouldn't allow me to do a system restore.

Hope you all have a virus-free day and stay careful.

By the way, I run Avast 7, Zone Alarm free firewall. I alrso run Malwarebytes, Ad-Aware and Spybot on a routine basis to keep my computer safe.

Welcome to BC, and thanks for joining. If you need help getting rid of the malware found by Avast, please post about the problem in the AM I INFECTED? Forum, so our Members can begin to help you get rid of it.
